Committed to the combination of technical innovation and application of aesthetics, in the field of environmental protection and personal health to create value
Ecomo Inc. is a technology-driven enterprise based in Silicon Valley dedicated to
harnessing emerging new technologies such as smart sensors and data fusion to gain new
insights and provide compelling new products and services to improve human health and
quality of life. Ecomo products are based on microfluidics and spectrophotometry technologies,
with a portable real-time online water quality monitoring device that integrates a variety
of micro-sensors. To bring the technology to a consumer-friendly level, Ecomo utilizes its
unique scientific algorithms to digitize complex water quality data and improve customer satisfaction.
“Our mission at Ecomo is to digitize our healthy lives,” the founder of Ecomo Eric says.
“Transform traditional water filters into smart devices powered by Ecomo sensing technology is just the start. We look forward to utilizing this sensor technology in more health related areas. ”
Eric has devoted more than 15 years of his life to Environmental Science
and the Engineering field. Environmental Engineering has traditionally been a
part of Civil Engineering and is Primarily affiliated with the government.
Many of the technologies we use in this field are well-established techniques
that have been used for more than a decade.
His genuine interest is in connecting the newest scientific developments with
new technologies and pairing it with the Environmental Engineering field.
His Ph.D. research involved him building the smallest Microfluidics Microbial Fuel
Cell (μMFC) in the world for bio-sensing with his results published in The Scientist
Magazine and featured by TEDx in 2010.
Ecomo has obtained hundreds of patents in more than 20 countries including China and the US.
